Exercise for Stroke and Brain Injury --  VIRTUAL
Zoom

During this new experience of enforced isolation, it is important to take care of ourselves and keep healthy. Group exercise participation can help motivation, mood and movement, which all enhance function and wellbeing. This new seated class will focus on exercises for participants with hemiplegia or other related weakness that include stretching, gentle cardiovascular movements, and to help advance your arm/leg control and symmetry. Physical therapist instructors will guide your breathing and coordinated motion, incorporating both sides of the body in every activity. This class is offered live using a two-way video chat on Zoom; we will help you with this online format before class begins! You will be able to watch the instructors lead every exercise. Using your computers camera will allow us to observe and safely guide your participation, keeping in mind your individual abilities and needs.

A link to the Zoom session and directions for using it will be provided prior to the start of class.
