Enjoy a full day of cycling along the beautiful coasts of Newburyport & Plum Island. This ride is designed for the intermediate-to-advanced adaptive cyclist.
We'll meet at 9:00am at Cushing Park and ride approximately 20 miles round trip to the Hellcat Wildlife Observation Area in the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. We'll stop for a brown-bag lunch at Hellcat before heading back to Cushing Park. The mostly flat route offers beautiful views of the river, marshes, beaches and wildlife refuge.
SASC will provide adaptive cyclist and all necessary cycling gear, with experienced staff supporting riders along the way. All abilities are welcome. Bring your own brown bag lunch, water, snacks, and proper layers. Keep a few dollars handy in case we have time for a celebratory ice cream stop!
We'll screen all registrants to ensure they are ready for a full day and approximately 20 miles of supported cycling. Once approved, we'll send more information with the itinerary and other details. Please arrive on time and ready to ride!
