Our new in-person Move and Groove" class is a “round robin” introduction to various fitness classes utilizing body weight movements set to music, with each session providing a different class (like SASC virtual offerings) to improve client strength, balance and endurance - all modified to accommodate every ability level.
Week 1 - “Balance Challenge” focuses on seated or stand balance, core and lower body strength, and includes dual tasking to challenge our brains and bodies simultaneously.
Week 2 - “Fitness for 45 (minutes)” focuses on muscular strength and endurance through body weight exercises addressing core, upper and lower.
Week 3 - “Upper body Pump” focuses on muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance addressing primarily upper body and core.
Week 4 - “Adaptive Boxing” focuses on cardiovascular endurance and upper body strength using various boxing techniques and combinations.
