The Eli Wolff Memorial Adaptive Sports Camp will be a five-day, fun-filled week introducing sports, fitness and wellness to youth ages 7-15 with Cerebral Palsy or similar physical manifestation such as from stroke, or TBI. Participants will have the opportunity to experience recreation activities which may include adaptive soccer, cycling, pickleball, basketball, seated volleyball, archery and boccia/cornhole, orienteering, strength training and wellness.
GMFCS Classifications 1 and 2 accepted and GMFCS Classification 3 will be considered. Independence with personal hygiene and self-care (with limited supervision) is required. This camp is offered through a research-based grant which may request some further medical information to fulfill grant requirements.
Applications with a reference from a teacher, coach, or physician to confirm the participant will succeed in a sports wellness camp will be given priority.
Junior Counselor volunteer positions are available for ages 15-18 year olds who meet or exceed the camper criteria.
