A mild to moderate level practice focused on strengthening and lengthening, as well as breathing and meditation for pain and stress management. Poses are offered in sitting, standing, and mat level for some classes; poses can be adapted to accommodate all abilities. Class is inclusive and open to everyone but is designed for those who are unable to access a mainstream yoga class. Yoga is a great way to deepen body awareness and overall sense of well-being.
Our PT Coach Celia is Kripalu, trained and yoga for cancer certified instuctor, will teach appropriately adapted variations in a safe, supportive environment.
Basic equipment will be provided including, mats, blankets, bolsters, blocks and straps. If you have personal equipment you would like to bring, feel free to do so.
