Through use of functional movements, this high-intensity Sport Performance Training class is designed specifically for competitive adaptive sport athletes and aims to improve cardiovascular and muscular strength, endurance, and power. Each class will focus on targeting specific muscle groups used commonly in sled hockey, wheelchair basketball, sit skiing, and other seated adaptive sports. Exercises can be done with or without resistance. Suggested ways to add resistance include hand weights, soup cans, water bottles, or Thera-bands.
