Off Season Sled Hockey Training --  VIRTUAL
Zoom

With our sled hockey season coming to a sudden end, its not too early to start training for next year. This virtual off-ice and interactive training is designed specifically for the sled hockey player looking for a strength and conditioning program to build muscles integral to the sport of sled hockey.

This class will be offered live, through two-way video chat using a program called Zoom. Terry Downey, a SASC physical therapist, will provide instruction and individual-specific adaptations to perform the workouts. Brendan Cormier, SASC coach and player, will visually demonstrate the stretches and exercises. The classes will be sequential starting at the hand, wrist, and elbow, progressing to the shoulder and then the back and core. Exercises can be performed sitting or standing and will utilize at-home items such as soup cans, Therabands, and your hockey sticks!

A link to the Zoom session and directions for using it will be provided prior to the start of class.

Youth practice at 9:00am; Adult practice at 10:00am
