Spaulding Adaptive Sports Center (SASC) is now offering an exclusively floor-based exercise class. Each class will be a full-body workout done entirely on the floor. All exercises may be done with or without equipment such as light/medium weights and resistance bands (flat and looped). We recommend being set up on a carpeted floor or an exercise mat over a rug. If this is not possible, please have a pillow or towel nearby for added comfort under your knees. Participants will be expected come prepared by safely getting down to the mat prior to the start of the session. Each session will begin with a brief warm up and/or stretching followed moving through various positions (seated, lying on back and lying on stomach) to exercise the upper body, lower body, back and core. Join us in improving our overall strength and stability in this floor-exclusive class!
